Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal and Processed Grain By-Products (for improved pellet quality).
Feed to animals as a forage source. Feed to cattle (including dairy cows) or horses at the rate of 5 to 8 lbs per head daily to supplement a poor roughage supply. It is recommended that this be fed as a part of a well balanced feeding program. Additional vitamins, minerals, and energy sources should be included in the ration.
A good quality hay should be offered at the daily rate of 0.5 to 1.0 lb per 100 lb of bodyweight.
In pelleted form to improve intake and increase ease of handling and reduce dust. A good source of Carotene, Vitamin A and Calcium. It may also be fed to rabbits.
